Personal Background: Francesco has been a chef for about 25 years, working in restaurants and hotels throughout Italy, Switzerland,france,canada he came to the us in 1987 to teach culinary arts at the CIA in hyde park, NY and worked there till 2005. His first camera was an olympus D500L less than 1mpx he joined NAPP, ASMP. he works by himself no other photographers.
Style:His work shows passion he does things with a special technique he’s like Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso they way he does things is out of this world even though it’s food photographer it’s like he times his time but not really the photo seems as if took his time but really we would never know.
Philosophy: His passion for food and technology, he’s trying to express his love for food with his love for photography and cooking all while using his creativity and this is one of the reasons why I chose him.
Influences:When I went on his page I instantly thought how did he do these things and most of the pictures were so simply like a slice of pizza but the way things were lined up it made things seem so hard that’s why I like his work he make people think harder and deeper about the picture that they are looking at which is great because who wants to look at a photo and keep going photos that make you stay on the page longer is better.

Compare and Contrast: For my first photo I did pizza but I was unique with it because I use extra toppings instead of just one and for the milky way I use the other side but we both had the caramel at the end and we use the same candy and for my last and final one both of our pictures were simply and almost the same he had a lot more toppings then me but mostly I was close to all his photos and I had fun doing this project.
